IMS Workshops

The aim of the IMS Workshops is to support the IMS Client in the implementation of IMS Integrated Management System Software and to make good use of the experience held by IMS Business Solutions Ltd. from the similar kind of implementation projects. During the MS Workshops the structures and the content of the management system is planned and created.

The theme of the IMS Workshop is doing. There are enough challenges in introducing a management system and one should not stand alone with these problems. IMS Workshops have been praised for their effectiveness and functionality. IMS Business Solutions Ltd. offers intensive and effective IMS Workshops for different subject areas where the organizations’ problems areas are specifically concentrated on.

If help is needed in the content creation or in the user training or in providing management system related development suggestions and solutions, knowledgeable trainers are on hand. IMS Workshops are tailored to suit the specific needs of organizations.

The first IMS Workshop is preceded by a pre-assignment. Between IMS Workshops, development groups make independently intermediate assignments assigned by the trainers and create content in IMS Integrated Management System Software. In the following IMS Workshops the results are being discussed, questions are being answered and possible problems are being solved. IMS Process Workshop

The IMS Process Workshop (1 to 2 days) is about describing and developing processes and it aims to to identify the organization’s processes, draw the process map and create the process architecture. Further on the development group describes at least one process fully ready and as for a sample to draw up the rest of the processes in similar way. After the IMS Process Workshop the IMS Client knows how the process management works and how to continue.

IMS Document Workshop

The IMS Document Workshop (1 day) is about managing documents and operations manual and it starts with an analysis of information and data what organization needs to manage including documents and instruction and locations used to store all of it. After this, it is decided which documents are imported in IMS Integrated Management System Software and a document tree is created, where documents are being created and versioned. After the IMS Workshop, information managed in different systems is defined. The document management is established in IMS Integrated Management System Software. Required links to other systems are created. The documents are linked to the process descriptions and the operations manual.

IMS Indicator Workshop

The IMS Indicator Workshop (1 to 2 days) is about sreating Balanced Scorecard to identify the organization’s indicators and the structure of the indicators and the needed vistas. Further on, essential organization level indicators are created and creation of other indicators according to the Balanced Scorecard is started. In addition it is shown how indicators are linked to processes and how data can be imported from other systems. After the IMS Workshop the participants know how to continue preparing indicators, how to complete indicators and how to maintain indicators.

IMS Report Workshop

The IMS Report Workshop (1 to 2 days) is about managing feedback and reporting and it helps to design what kind of feedbacks the organization should note down, handle and make use of. These kinds of feedbacks include development suggestions, deviation reports and reclamations. Based on the reflection, the feedback templates are created in IMS Integrated Management System Software to accompany standardized feedbacks. Hence in the future feedbacks can be noted and occurring events can be properly managed. After the IMS Workshop the standardized templates are created together with the content and the phases. The participating IMS Client is able to implement the reporting section and start the data mining from the filled in reports for statistical purposes.
